This was my first pallet project. There’s nothing better than having a project that you can quickly use to toast with like this Fast, Easy Pallet Wine Rack. This didn’t need anything extra, except some fasteners and some stain. I finished this project in under an hour!
Fast, Easy Pallet Wine Rack – Fast and Fun:
First, break down one pallet. You’ll use four blocks and deck boards to make this. Next, cut deck boards to the height of the wine rack you want. Then, install them onto the top and bottom of a set of blocks to create the walls. Mount one board to the bottom to create the shelf after cutting notches to hold your stemware. We opted to enclose the bottom block to give the shelf some depth. Next, add boards for the back and secure with fasteners.
Fast, Easy Pallet Wine Rack – Finishing:
I stained this a rich brown tone, and will eventually apply a polyurethane to protect it. This could be fun to paint or apply decorative finishes to as well!
